Thread: New Loot or standard?

I hate freaking Dathomir. I go there as seldom as possible. However, as the herbie there is kicking major butt, I wandered in and commenced to harvesting makloks and ewis and such.
Somehow I made a Rancor mad. No biggie, only a red con with 10k ham. After I dropped him, I looted, hoping for a toofie. Instead I got some kind of kick butt Vibro Lance, with electrical attacks, low HAM costs, other neat stuff.
Is this new or have Rancors been dropping weapons like this all along? I can honestly say this was only the 10th or so Rancor I have ever deliberately hunted solo and this was the first I got with actual loot. I prefer Sharnaffs on Corellia, my armorsmith likes me.
Not dancing in the aisles or anything, like I can use a lance? Just wondering....

The last hunter to try and take him down musta been a Pikeman, heh. Did it have a skelton hand attached to it?

Thats odd,
when Ive looted rancor, I typically get bile or other thing. Never an actual weapon..cool

You sure you hadn't looted a Night sister lately and maybe forgot? Perhaps one of the Rasps you killed gave it to you to prevent further attacks on its brethren...

I don't suppose you can post a screen of it to imagedump. I would like to see if it is worth going to Dath and hunt some of those bad boys.

Loot like armor and weapons are dropping from rancors and krayts. Don't ask me why, sometimes its "exceptional" mabari armor with 90% resist to energy, sometimes its a crappy pair of boots.
Must be something the krayts and rancors have eaten.

If it was something they ate then it would have to be one of the millions of sets of composite armor! I just wish we could find an ancient krayt that ate a mandalorian so I could nab me one killer set of armor.
