Thread: Highest OQ for avian meat

I am currently trying to fill an order for a guildmate Doctor who needs avian meat to make buffs. I was wondering what creature produces the highest OQ for avian meat.The best I have found so far is 375 for yavinian whisper birds.Thanks in advance.

Its been noted here several times, but resources shift. Use http://www.swgcreatures.com to find what animals on what planets have Avian Meat (you will be very surprised in some cases) and then you have to go and sample them. Not only does it vary planet to planet, but server to server as well... and it shifts about every couple of weeks. Also, there a couple of planets that have no avians at all.
Also, for avian meat going into doctor buffs... OQ, PE, and DR are all important. I would suggest taking an average of all three stats to compare and find the best meat.

Yup, varies week to week server to server.
Doctors want 66% OQ, 33% PE, and as high DR as you can get for duration.
*grumbles about talus having great avian meat and killing hoards of rasps for 2 days* *twitches*

Ok, lemme clue about Talus, planet where things shift as quick as you can say wow, nice stuff.
Day 1, 1000 hrs, avian was in the 900s. I start harvesting my butt off. Get 15k of meat, which on Talus, for avians, is a buttload.
Day 2, 0530 hrs, back at it again. Holy shift, already? Avian is in the 300s. Oh the words I use. I knew I should have stayed awake and harvested more.
Day 2, 1500 hrs, ok, server reset at 0700 my time. Still crappy avian. Say what? Another shift, avian on Talus is in the 500s.
Day 3, 0900, after reset. Avian is about 700. What is going on? 4 shifts in 48 hours, more or less.
Honest, I was there, I have witnesses. Talus will shift at the drop of my new Mabari helmet.

I dont think its just Talus... I have seen other planets shift more than once in 24hours on the same resource. The shifting is random and I think it averages out to be like a week or so, but it can be quite a bit less or quite a bit more. We had Lok herb meat on Flurry stay the same and not shift for like 4 weeks once.

For some reason, on Lowca Yavin wooly hide varies from good to really good. Right now, dantooine bones are hot, and ive got about 40k for a client and im just hoping the resources dont shift any time soon

On starsider, I cant get any good Yavin wooly, for a while it was 178oq, ugh....last I checked it was at 778 or something, but really low malleability so it makes for some overly heavy padded armor..

Hmmm....Naboo Avian on Wanderhome is at roughly 970OQ and ~900PE. It has been this good for a few weeks now. Talk about price gouging....thank goodness I give mine to my guild, otherwise I would have to deal in a crazy market.
