Ranger Archive

I have been a Ranger for a long time, since SWG came out. And one of the things that really bothers me is when I /examine a creature, some of the stats are missing. For instance, what type of bone am I going to harvest, are these animals social, and maybe even some stats on the quality of bone/meat/hide that I will harvest. I know these are very minor, but a Master Ranger should be able to see everything about an animal.

I feel your pain...

It has been noted before, almost since day one that we need more information on those kinds of things. Right now, i merely count on my game experience to know what drops what kind of bone.

and for now, I just assume that all creatures are social until theyre proven not to be. However, what I have noticed...is that if there is a "scout" creature, then the creatures are by nature, non social...but when attacked, the scout creature will run to the lair, and "summon" help from their fellow creatures, If the scout creature is killed before he gets to the lair, then usually the other animals really dont care that you just killed one of them.

Exactly... The Outdoorsman was simply a subset of the State of the Profession list.
