I've checked swgcreatures.com (AWESOME resource) so I know I'm looking for Giant Carrion Spats and Greater Gulginaws. Also, I tried getting missions for them but with no success.

Any recommendations, please, on how/where best to hunt these critters? I spend most of my time on Tatooine, so am not particularly familiar with Corellia yet.

Giant Carrions are in the northern section of Correlia. I've found them doing the rebel themepark and going south from Kor Vella to Coronet. Gulinaws are harder to find. Try the very west section of the map (west past Tyrena). I've only seen regular gulinaws, though, not Greater Gulinaws.

Unfortunately I've had a problem with mobs spawning randomly. I can drive some days for 8k and not see one MOB

You should be able to find plenty of rasps around the Agrilat Swamp. I have a house there and see them always.

Carrion Spats, including Giants, I see plenty around the Rebel Themepark POI in the mountains and south of Kor Vella all over the place.

Greater Gulginaws and others I have found along the southern coast. Try different weapons in your hand, even some you have no skill to use, and grouping with different people when you are looking for missions.

This may be server centric, and I am on Flurry... but give it a shot.

Hi, just checked in.

Carrions spats, NE of Tyrena.

Gulginaws, good luck. Devils are lvl 25 missions. Dunno bout regular ones. Seen some east of Tyrena now and then.

Thanks gents, I'll try that.

I should be able to get devil gulginaw missions, then?

I'm a Master Ranger/Master TKA so lvl25 should be easy. Still, the mission terminals have been very unkind - I've tried grouping various ways (sounds kinky) but haven't seen a single gulginaw mission. The missions aren't geographically linked in any way, are they? That is, I should be able to get the same kinds of missions from every terminal on the planet, right?

I'd go after Rasps, but the yeild is a bit too low, no?

Here is my favorite spot for coerillian avain meat. Next to the Agrilat Swamps, there is a kind of mountain, its SE of the swamps I think. On this mountain you see a lot of devil gulginaw, and sprats.
