As promised, I am reporting on my first solo adventure with a bunch of Imperial stooge troopies.

Not that I have not been all over the freaking universe, as I have of late. Not that I am not carrying contraban, I am, tons just to get scanned. Sadly, not a probot in sight.

However -

I am in the cantina healing my BF. Crafting. In walk 3 stormies. Oh goodie, play time. One clown proceeds to rag on me like I owed him money and was dating his sister. At least 3 solid minutes of bs from this moron. I was laffing, getting powerups for my pistols ready, figuring what moves to make. In walks Johnboy Wayne. A novice SL. He opens fire on the first stormie, and away he went, deader than yesterdays news. I of course nail trooper one, wound #2 so he is about useless, and take on #3.

Ok, who forgot to tell me there were 3 outside? I noticed the reds just now. Rats, big rats. Duece and Trey are down. Four is firing at me through a wall (oh what irony, an Imp using an exploit, an NPC even). He is down. 5 and 6 are retards, looking for the door I think. I move around, confusing them, they keep charging me, only to hit the outside wall. Ok, mind is back up, I am healed. The last two are dispatched.

Now comes the cavalry. Three other rebels come running in. "Where did those Imps go?" Ummm,,,, check the floor. Shhh, they are napping. "Who helped you?" Why do I always get morons asking me questions like this? I left in a huff, would have been a minute and a huff, but I was in a hurry.

Score - Ranger 6, Impies 0.

Now, where do they hide the probots?? Anyone, anyone...Beuhler.....

Haha! I dunno, I have yet to see an Imp scanner. As far as the crackdown, are these normal Stormies? Every town I walk in all I see are "sleeping" 'troopers. Tho I must admit the best crackdown was in Coronet.

There was this one Reb Commando(bout as stoopid as BH's) talking smack. A Stormie walks around the corner. The Commando laughs and then proceeds to flame him to death. All of a sudden 3 AT-ST's and about 20 Stormies round the corner. All you see is him take off running a few steps before he's owned like a newbie(I refuse to use the kiddie SWG terms grrr). All the rest of us just laughed. I'm glad that was my neutral character.

Ok...I guess I am the first to report...(uh admit) to being probed.

I was on Talus for no other reason than I really like it there. Its quiet, peaceful and there are some nice player cities. Im killing a critter and all of a sudden a probot comes over to me. I get a message "you are being scanned for contraband" or something like that. It kinda tickled... but in a bad way So I am carrying spices, sliced armor, sliced weapons and thats it. I get a message that the scan was complete and no contraband was found.

I get annoyed at the total incompetence of the imperial probot, my guess is that it was a beaurocratic mess up at the main intelligence gathering headquarters where all the imperial privates collect random info from the probot (probulator) scans. I get annoyed so I killed the probot. I beat it up and before it ceased to beep anymore, it let out a distress call.

Now I am expecting the Airborne Stormtroopers. I hang out, ready to deal with them head on. I wait. I wait some more, I notice that my clothes have a little dust on them so I run them out in the stream, and sadly no stormtroopers. Oh well, I continue on my merry way, my TEF is gone and im a little disappointed.

I run around and go kill more stormtroopers that I find in town, still no Airborne troopers...

oh well...they may come when I least expect them. Til then, im gonna kill every probot i see

Get yourself buffed and enjoy the pistoleer power..heh. Took down 45 high level "Reb folk" in the "wilds" of Talus's weapons depot.

Went down 3 full floors clearing as I swept. Guess I'll have to settle for static locations over the now frequent city spots of ST's you Rebel people are receiving.. I'll get around to taking you down, Ranger to Ranger.

But yeah, congrats on killing things..heh, still haven't been scanned here.

Drywen - What's a buff? I wasn't. Totally 100% non-buffed, no armor, no spices, not even an onion in my system. I only used Stim Bs, a powerup (well 2) on my blaster and some tactical skills.

Disappointed to hear no airmobile (airborne drop from the sky, airmobile ride in) troopers either. Well big rats again.

I know you weren't buffed, I was suggesting you try it out. Heh.. Sincea MPcan take 5-6 without a buff, I just happened to notice I could take 45 with a buff. Just fun to see occur..

Better luck with the ships from afar, coming down like the rasps to deliver you to the cloner.

The crackdown is helping my harvesting of Noobian Wooly no end. I simply stroll along the North coast of Naboo where in no time at all I will find one of the many groups of Imps, normal, Dark, AT-ST's or even a mixture of the lot of them and then "lead" them to the nearest wooly dropping critter by causing agro on anything that I can see along the route.

They will aid me in combat soI can do 2 giant Peko Peko in moments where on my own I would have to be careful, pull one away, bleed etc etc. I just have to be careful to get at least one shot in when it comes to those Gularmas (spelling - horsy things) as me any my Imps can deverstate a whole lair in minutes. Once they are all dead I go find the next bunch hanging about in the middle of nowhere.

Even passed a group of 10 doing some sort of Synch Swimming routine the other night, got some nice screenies :-)

Handy bunch they are....

Closest I have come to getting scanned was when I was in Kor Vella and ehading towards the Star Port. I llok in my spatial channel and noticed something along the lines of "All unit be on the lookout for a suspected Rebel by the name of Calculus Entropy." Nothing ever came of it. I have dispatched many of the Trooper Squads that you find out in the wilderness. Are these the leftovers of someone getting scanned, or are they just random spawns?
