Fodder 650, Thanks for the advice, yea I going to try for MR/MCH just because I "think" it should work well. I understand what your trting to tell me, and I know I'm making it harder on myself, but it is how I see the character. I'm planning on keeping novice medic and taking what I can from Rifleman, and when I can afford it I be seeing a BE for better pets (I am a Dog lover in rl, so I want some real good Hound templates in game). I'm not into PVP so pets not working there is no problem for me. This is just a play style kind of thing. I use to fence so the sword/ranger sounds cool though, maybe I'll try something differant on another server.

Master Ranger/Master CH/Novice Medic leaves you with the points for Marksman 4/0/0/0 and3 points left over. Fiqure burning them up on first aid 1.
Dog lover? Im a cat owner but in game i had it in my mind i wanted dogs. So i went with Robas and Kusaks both are BE made. Theres at least one other dog template. But my heart always goes to the Robas. When i was a MCH/MR hadI taken 3.0.0.0 Rifleman with it. I would have probaly been very happy. Or gone with conceal shot's tree. Taking pistoleer so i could be in range to heal my pets was a killer.

Welcome. As for MCH, be careful who you group with. Most people don't care about your pets and just treat them like worthless tanks. It's the main reason I dropped MCH.

I finally made it, I've wanted ranger since I started last Sept. I don't get to play much or have long sessions, so I had to do it solo (no buffs either) for the most part. Now it will take a year or two to reach master, but that is okay. I read about Rangerand Creature Handlerwhen I first started, and thought the combowould work for me, so here I am. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

And then theres my reply.
How far in ranger do you plan on going? MR/MCH isnt worth it as a combo unless you will always have a heavy fighter behind you for support. The 18 points you have left in an elite profession arent going to help you. Im a Master Sword/Ranger 4/0/4/0 with CH 3/4/0/1(need to check think thats it) and it gives me CL43 which leads to some big creatures. There is a belief that post combat balance CH will again be a good profession to have.

Congrats bro...if you are looking for a guild, city, and a great bunch of scouts/rangers..look me up as we would be happy to have you. Plenty of hunting contracts to go around.
