Thread: Great news SPAWNS FIXED?? On test????

not sure what this means... but im really hoping its what i think it is..
Test center patch notes on launch pad..
Krayt spawns increase..
All other spawns increased..
Does this mean that they have fixed the dead cycle that exisist?? you all.. all atleast all REAL/NON_MISSION rangers no what im talking about.. Ive seen these dead zones cycle through tat, naboo, dant... im talking total dead planet over the last month + yavin around mining post hasnt seam hit by this one..
Its obvouse from patch notes that this was a REAL issue.. I encourage all of you to keep posting. I dont care what you believe.. but the devs and there assosiates do read the forums.
There are tons of posts to read, and yea they dont read um all. But one sure way to get your post skiped is start flaming. These prof boards are here for feed back on profs, to help noobs, and to better the prof all around.. If you want to flame go for it.. just stick to the galaxie boards.. they love a goood toasting.. but please peeps, lets keep the fire retardent on hand cause the only way we can make a prof better is through contructive talk.. not Dood i pwn'd U
Needed to rant a bit about the direction ranger boards are going /wink... lots of noobs here now since the mission nerf.. lets show um the light..
RORI IS FIXED??? god i hope soo.. i love rori, and those poor artisans that have had no good rori bone for months.. /sigh They need love too

On Rori right now. Just cut a 10 km swath across it. Nothing, I mean absolutly nothing (ok 2 npcs). I did find a few spawns about 2 km out of a player city in the south. So ya Rori is still empty. The stuff that's always in a ring around the cities is still there, whoo... My first real contract as a ranger and it had to be here...

Oh I almost forgot. The fishing is GREAT! I found a ***** spot with NO stars of vegitation.

Don't get TOO excited
Sometimes things happen on TC when the Dev's are looking for particular datasets. With the CURB round the corner it may be that they are looking for some baseline stats on weapon/armour/combat/fiddlestick/shenanigans re big creatures and faction bases.
having said that, I hope they ARE looking to tweak the big creatures. It'd be nice to see a krayt family wandering about near Jabba's or AH like I found last night. Talk about making the wilderness a hostile environment again? OOOH yeah!
** OH! And, Master Ranger / Master Rifles, full doc buffs, full tin suit... Took the two juvenile krayt down in no time and 'almost' got mummy by dragging her into herds of bantha, beetles, hermits, settlers who aggroed on her as soon as she used an AoE attack
(2k xp per trap that stuck to a juvy, btw)

On Corbantis Rori is fixed, i was there last week, and the place was alive with life...TONS of NPC's, lots of tortons, ikopi, tusk cats, squalls........ I had no problem hunting on Rori.
Before, like about 3 months ago, Rori was the opposite, it was dead....nothing, i tracked across the entire planet, and found nothing.
