Thread: Giant Kino's and traps

Alright I know I'm showinf my noobness but here goes. I'm 2-4-4-4 Ranger, still working on the last little bit. I had my Tracker title up yesterday and immediately started getting a butt load of /tells..lol Anyway, one guy wanted to hunt Giant Kimo's. I said I'd do it, for free even, just cause I've never really tracked something for someone. We found two right away and I started throwing every trap I had....none of them worked. I threw all of them three times. Why didn't any stick? I'm guessing it's because of there extremely high resists, but I'm not sure. Oh ya, I'm never doing that again with just 2 people either. My HAM is all black!! lol

Giant Kimos are not unlike Krayts. Forget trapping them. Ain't gonna happen.
Lesser kimos can be trapped. Myself and a guildie dropped 6 enraged the other morning. 2k trap xp per. Just have to use the correct weapons. I was not buffed, tho my partner was and was spam in a can TK. Me, in regular clothes, using traps like a madman andbleeding the beasties.
