is five to terrain neg. better than zero? what are the increments of effectiveness for the skill. also at what lvl of creature knowledge are you able to tellif a creatures has special attacks, thanks.

Reading your posts on other forums, it appears you are trying to get a lot of abilities for the least skill points.
Ranger TN is all about crawl speed, so +5 is not that big a deal.
Scout TN is about running speed.
All I can say about dabbling is - you may have a stack of low abilites, but unless you know how to use them, you are still lunch. And a master in any combat class is going to have speed on you, as well as having special attacks you simply can't get. Play around with the combat professions, find the one you like and master it. You will be glad you did.

Someone just posted it the other day and its better then any answer i can give you. As for the TN question any is better then 0 but i believe above 50 it just effects crawling speed. If you watch a master ranger crawl its pretty funny to see how fast they can go. Great if your a rifleman under cover useless if your not.
