I keep seeing items like this for auction - General Ranged Aiming -4 or something. What is that all about?

Means they actually decrease your skill.


Only noobs buy them.


Powerups that show minuses mean they take less of that action bar to work. CAs or SAs with negatives are bad.


and can ya quit with the fricking astericks LT??

It really depends on the modifier.


Most things positive numbers are better, but if you're talking about HAM costs, or speed, or required use skills, and so forth, less is more.

Only thing i found them any good for is to get a second lower mod to stick


EG CA with CM use 8 & 2H Speed 5


now if u had a CM use -4 it would make the Speed stick rather than the CM use
