I was on dant doing doing some rifle training when this Bounty Hunter comes by me smug as can be and says: "You should have gone IMP, storm troopers would help you kill those things." (refering to the quenkers i'm snipe hunting).. He then rides off over this hill laughing.
Two minutes later, he comes running back over the hill, his bike in flames and get's incapped right at my feet by a Huurton. I couldn't help but giggle and say: "where's you empire now?" Being the helpful ranger that we are, I chased away the critters and thew up a camp for him the heal. But this has put a tremendous bright spot in my otherway boring day.
I think i've decided that most bounty hunters would be the bullies in jr high that end up short and fat later on in life and don't realize that they are short and fat. Kind of like formerly pretty women that don't realize they are not pretty anymore.

So, me and the kid were watching Ep2 tonight and I got to thinking "That Jango Fett, he's short and fat... and a total bully". Him and his clonekid (how vain? how insecure with the ladies??) run off almost as soon as a tougher kid turns up. Whenever you see Jango and his MiniMe they're like Beavis and Butthead in blue boiler suits...
and then I got to thinking how like BH ingame that is! See, who said SW:G isn't 'canon'??
Oh, and 'formerly pretty women'? No such thing mate, just a need for more beer.
I'll get my coat, shall I?

Yeah, go Imp. The squads of Stormies will help you kill stuff. This is true.
Large freaking hint - they help REBELS too. That's right boys and girls, Stormies are too freaking stupid to realize the crusty dusty dude in the camo is a rebel Colonel who is aggroing the entire countryside, using their shiny white suits as a shield.
Fact is, the same evil rebel has intentionally aggro'd some really nasty stuff on Endor, Lok, Yavin and Dant, then dragged it thru the squad formations of nearby Stormies. Golly, those two giant freaking wolf things on Endor ate like 15 of the 16 stormies, or was it they never noticed they were being shot in the butt and bleed whiter. Man was that some good XP and loot. The wolves were hard red cons, over 5k pistol per, and 16 stormies was a good chunk of change and some loot and FP. ONe shot into a stormie means I get to loot if an NPC drops it.
Yeah yeah, rebel NPCshelp Imps too. But how hard is it to find a squad of 16 rebels versus how hard is it to find 16 Imp STs wandering around looking lost.
Stay rebel, even the stormies know you are in the right.
That or the Jedi mind trick continues to work it's waythrough the ranks.
This is not the Ranger you were looking for. Move along....

The city on Dantooine where our guild hall is located has a small family of Kunga rockshapers, who more or less are the city's mascots. A BH was trying to kill them and not succeeding very well, so I suggested he could take refuge in the hall while his mind healed up. He runs in, turns right back around and skitters off.
I had forgotten to mention the full-grown kimogila our creature handler had left in the main hall
But not much of a BH if he failed to notice the lack of a red or even yellow dot on the map.

aye, hiding among agro animals and sniping passing overt players is fun. Its great when people think that Ranger is underpowered and end up getting killed by animals that we can solo w/o buffs.

So, I'm in the Krayt Graveyard, and its late/early and I run across a squad of 20 ST's with 2 of the uber ST's (171k HAM)...guess what I did...
Flash Speeder, Canyon Krayt, and 2 uber ST's......what great tanks...

Hehe
Had something similar... tough...
3 Krayt dragons in one go.... (400k, 40k and a juvenile one, i didn't examine but too run from)..
surely they spotted me and came running after me... great sight...
I knew there was a party of stormies nearby so i ran through them, up to the hill and watched the scene...
Never saw the stormies dies so fast.
Unfortunately, some n00b jedi's came along, dragged the krayts along and in my direction again and i was out of breath
Sometime, i think a ranger should be able to mindblow a jedi or sometrhing... *sigh*
Ah well.. it was a pretty sight after a rather dullfull day of harvesting herb meat...
