Friday evening, On Naritus, Cryos made the innocuos comment on the ranger chat channel "I need some people to come with me to Lok to get some stuff for Lok Camo kits. Anyone interested? I'll buy what you harvest."
Well, I needed XP and cash, and it looked like a camping opportunity, so I said yes. Reybekk said yes, and Al-Djinn'i said yes. So we all buffed and headed for Lok, then the city of Narita. I pulled one of my merek battlelords, and we all camod or masked, and off we went. 2 minutes later, we found a GDK. Then we spent the next 5 minutes being diseased and beating it over the head/Blowing holes in its noggin. And we did that 4 times, 4 GDK's. Then we healed up in camp, then we found an enraged Kimogila, and killed it too. Then another one popped up, and we killed that one. Then we decided we needed to get some bone, so we killed a few snorbals and gurks. Then we decided it was time to heal, and headed for Lok'N'Load. After a few minutes of watching an infamous wookie entertainer, we healed the rest of our wounds, and headed towards kimo town.
We ran into a plain kimogila. Feeling brave, I asked if I could try to solo it. They all nodded and stood back, then noticed another kimo and headed off while I began my game of "Smite thee" on a kimo's brain. Just before I killed it, they had me drag it over to the corpse of the other kimo, and then I killed it. My first solo kimo 
We killed a couple more Kimos, and I got wayfaring 4, and then it was time to start heading back. We walked, and killed gurks and snorbals on the way back for more bone and hide.

I got to solo my first Kimo, and I got trained up to 4440 Ranger

Yes, the kimo hunt was a blast and hunting with a bunch of ranger is just second to none when it comes to huntin parties. The dancer to which Mot' refers is a fat wookie known as "ron'jeremy" who shouts out "industry" slogans while he dances. While funny at first, I don't know if I will ever shake the haunting images. Also, I can't believe that actually HEALED my mind wounds. One would think it would have incurred further disease and wounding

I should also add; we never would have made it out alive if it weren't for Mot' and his camps.
Before we had even grouped up on Lok, Mot' screamed over the RIN: "I CALL CAMPS!".

And why don't kimos have bones? What are they made out of? Flan?

Bummer I was busy backpacking in RL working on my TN skillpoints and missed the fun, hope you guys are on again tonight to play :-)

That hunt was not only incredibly fun, it was a learning experience as well. I learned that, while the universe is fluid and ever in motion, there are two constants that be relied upon. One: Rangers are the absolute best people to group with/go on scary dinosaur killing rampages with. Two: Whenever something huge and terrifying attacks Reybekk, he will run directly towards me, trailing the horrible monster behind him, so that I don't feel left out of the fun. That guy is all heart.
We have got to do this again soon. Low on dath camo resources yet, Cryos?

Al-djinn'i, I think we have a small problem here.
While the kimo hunt was fun, that time he KD'd you and sat on you... it seems it has left a brown residue all over your forum name. sorry man. Oh wait... is that from the kimo or Ron'Jeremy?

Funny, I don't recall going into that cantina. I wasn't the one diseased all to hell, if you remember. And while we're on the subject of fuzzy memories, you forgot to thank that nova trooper who saved your sorry rebel hide from going on a fantastic voyage through thebowels of a giant lizard. Respectis due, malcontent.
