Thread: Tracking NPC actors?

I was just wondering if you rangers have the possibility to track down the new NPC actors that you can hire from the event managers.

I'm only wondering because if you can do this, it would be a great thing for player-generated quests!

Tracking actors...we could have a whole skill tree called Papparazzi! You have just gained the skill /takeSmarmyPictures

Is this why I was tracking "Arnold Schawartzenager" on Dantooine the other morning? Weird, I'ld get w/ in 64M of him but never saw anything, what is this all about? I didn't think you could make up names like that on a server, so I assumed it was some kind off "easter egg" the devs dropped in, but I had no clue and still don't. LoLoL



I was drugged and left for dead in mexico and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.

I haven't tried it but it probably works. Lottery Droids pop up in my animal track all the time.

Isn't that the whole point of them? - player events/quests etc.?

Sure can. Just checked and the Race Coordinator Droid, Scavenger Hunt Droid and Lottery Droids all show on /areatrack.


The actor NPC's also show.


They do not, however, show on the radar, but show white on the overhead map.

They don't seem to have put Celeb names in the filters lol. I run into Ernest Hemingway all the time in the SP. He aways seems strangely sober though...
