I recall sweeping the area around the Rebel Hideout for these ... I managed to find the occasional Carrion Spat lair, they yielded lots of meat each ... don't just ignore everything else either, kill it fast and clear the way for more Carrion Spats.

Wow, I never spotted a carrion spat mission before. I must have tried in the wrong area...or got bored...I'd rather wander around and find them anyways.

They can be a real pain to get them to pop, especially two in a similar direction. I was doing a little scout harvesting on the side with my main Bria toon who was TKM only for combat prof at the time. To get the missions I had to equip a sword or pistol that I was not qualified for, then either be in a group with a couple people or to do it solo I had to group with my droid. That reminds me, I had thought nothing was worse than winning on the TatooineSlot Machine(getting banthas to pop on the terminal

) but I just remembered, carrion spats are worse lol.

i have noticed quite a lot of spat and giant spat lairs along the riverbanks on corellia... maybe a tour along the rivers would be useful...

For Carrion Spats, aim for CL 13-14 ... a master elite grouped with an MSE or power droid should do nicely.

Totally right.... central plains, basically where the elusive GPS resides, so does the Carrion Spats.

Take a group with you. Even though the creatures aren't very tough, it will be worthwhile to have the group bonus if you want to harvest a decent size stack.

Edit: Plus with a group, you have more eyes available to find the necessary lairs!
