Does anyone know if camo kit application is dependent on +camo skill OR do you have to have the ability to produce the camo kit yourself (i.e. Can a non-master ranger with enough camoflage skill and /conceal apply a pre-made dathomir kit to himself?)
I do not currently have the skill points to master ranger, but i am friends with a master ranger, can i get him to make me the kits which i can then apply myself (since there appears to be no +conceal skill mod) ?

Im not sure if this has been fixed but i was once able to use my Dath kits without being master ranger. It may be possible to use them all the way down to when you get the /conceal ability (this is what i think it was/is) but could be that you can just use them a box or couple of boxes below your level.
So the answer is you can use them without having the schematic (use them without being apropriate level) and i believe you can use any of them aslong as you have the /conceal ability but obviously at a much decreased effect.

Yup if you can /conceal you can use any kit.
If you came in to this idea on your own based on the lack of a conceal mod... /salute your brain is doing its job.

Yep it works just fine, I have no idea if it's effectiveness is any less, but it works. Crigoo only has the first box but was running around Yavin with the Yavin camo kit on the other night which is from the level 4 box. I walked past every red dot on the map and they all ignored me completely.
