Hi, I just saw this thread on my server board.
Can't see any mention of it around here. Can anyone shed any light please ?

I don't think I understand your question...it's a wishlist from the GCW forum. There is no plan of implementing any of those requests AFAIK...

Well the thread I linked to some screen shots which seemed to show this happening.
Didn't know if they were TC shots or someone using event perks.

Lol, I think you have the wrong link. I get the GWC forum, and their wishlist with the link you provided 
. I can tell you, there has been no announcement of HTFB's and Shuttles. It is probably just some creative screenshotting. I would like to see those pictures, though

If I were to venture a guess, I would say this would tie in with the 'Recall' feature that never made it in live (where a factional shuttle would come down, pick you up and drop you off at the nearest starport, at least according to the Prima Guide)
They obviously have the code already in the game to land shuttles anywhere (since Leia & Vader seem to be dropping out of the sky a lot these days), and the recent player event perks.
Perhaps the devs are inching towards recall becoming a possibility (though I doubt it would be a Ranger only thing if it ever did come)
Im not sure Recall is even needed (if I wanted a shuttle to come to me in the wild it would be to drop off a crate of canape or gammorl so I can stay in the bush even longer). I dont really *need* a shuttle to fly in and pick me up, seems kinda pointless beyond the 'cool' factor.

Hehe Ya one of the new perks you can buy at Hotels is a Shuttle becon. It doesn't do any thing its a RP device.
