Thread: Difference between Camo and /mask

One thing I'm not clear on are camo kits applied to oneself better than just using /mask on a hostile world? The ability to throw camo on my non-scout friends and guildies is great, but what is the difference between using it on myself or just that /mask command? Should the camo be more effective or what?

It breaks less for me. It lasts longer. Most NPCs will ignore you with it on. Faction turrets wont shoot at you. Haven't tried the last one in a bit, so test the water first And if its manned forget about it.

Interesting, I might have to throw a Naboo kit on and go combatant and head to Deeja Peak to see if the troopers ignore me

They do. I walked around Coronet all day long with cammo on, and not a Rebel aggroed me.
