Do the harvesting tapes work? A dude is offering am8 of mine 1, a +25 harvesting tape, and uncertain on what the value should be aswell on a tape like that...

It's useless if you don't have /harvestcorpse, and there's no cap on the skill apparently. Offer him 50k, and tell him that you're the only one that will make good use of it.
