I coulda sworn we were calling them Pop-Tarts from now on to, ya know, protect their power......

Congrats...
Camo IS like a higher level mask scent BUT you can apply it to other players and now other players can use your camo kits all by themselves although it isn't as effective as if you applied it to them. So camo kits are something that can be sold to other players now.
The Kashyyyk camo kit seems to be bugged at this moment.
As far as traps... a couple of my favorites are the glow wire... allows creatures to be hit more often by lowering their defenses... and stink bomb which makes them more susceptible to state effects. I also use sonic pulse and flash bomb regularly. The dart and mesh are nice when your with a group and you want to keep the targets from running up on your ranged party members.
As for camo, I'd argue that there is not too much of a reason to use it now. With all the new agro rules, I find that camo and mask scent cause me more problems when I use them than when I just skip them.
For the traps, I like the Phenacine Dart (slows the target for you--slightly bugged now and will sometimes cause a root), Sonic Pulse (dizzy and stun in an area), and flash bombs (blind in an area). The rest can be useful but I usually just stick with these. The snare lets you stay away from the target (useful for stuff you don't want hitting you, like krayts). The dizzy lets you cause extra damage and the blind makes you get hit less often. Just be careful where you use the AoE traps as you might hit more than you expect. Usually, I would pull with the Phenacine (if you have autoattack off when you throw your traps, you should be able to single pull) and use the sonic pulse and flash bomb when they get far enough away from their lair mates. I use the sonic pulses and flash bombs more than the scout counterparts because the AoE can sometimes be useful and the double state on the sonic pulse can't really hurt.
welcome to the fold
surprisingly, the most basic trap (the Lecapine dart) can be quite usefull when single-pulling. getting a dizzy on a single creature can be super-usefull. and the l-dar is qute effective as you approach Master Ranger. extradamage is always a plus.
Welcome to the camp fire.
In addition to what has been said above about camo, it also works against NPC's where as Maskscent only works against creatures.
Good hunting and clear skies.
