Greetings all, thought I would ask the Ranger community a question regarding my character.

In the past my character was a MasterRifleman, and Ranger 4344, before finishing all that survival xp, I got caught up in the Jedi bandwagon. As much as I absolutely loved being a ranger, I figured along with probably alot of people in the game, that Jedi was endgame and something to work towards. So I became glowie, grinded out all that XP, and unlocked a few months ago. At first I was elated, all my hardwork had paid off. Then I realized that every idiot out there also had a Jedi. My Jedi character was nothing unique, and was the farthest thing from what my idea of end game was. Since becoming a Jedi, I have began to have less fun with the game. I spend all day killing animals, running from every dot I see on the radar, and for what? To finish my template, have a character which is only so so in comparison to other professions, and then spend the rest of my days looking for meaningless PvP? I have become content for BH's, and have generally just grown unhappy with what Jedi has become in SWG, and it no longer interests me to play one. I long to be a ranger again. My question to the community is this. Should I just give up, drop Jedi, keep the FS skills that interest me and regrind ranger? Or should I put my Jedi on the shelf and completely regrind an alt from scratch. All I would need for my main is to regrind ranger since I'm already Master Rifles, however do you all think I would seriously regret dropping Jedi?

Well just remember if you give up on jedi, you'll be short 24sp for your regular profs. Remember you can't drop ANY FS skills unless you replace them with another completed tree. What that means is you'll have to grind up another tree before dropping a tree you want to drop. OR... option two would be to completely delete your toon, and start from scratch. It stinks I know, but that's how the FS stuff was designed. I'm in a similar boat, but I decided to just finish my jedi template and play around with my other toons, one of which will be MCH/MRanger.

make your alt a MRanger. you cant drop all of FS stuff, so it's not worth doing with your Main toon.

just play on your alt now and throw some mothballs on your jedi and stick'em in a closet.

If you do this you'll run into that trapping XP problem.

I plan on becoming a Jedi/Master Ranger

This sould be a whole new experiance in pain.

The general idea is to get my alt char, then either stay jedi/ranger, or drop jedi, or turn my alt into a ranger. I'm not sure which of these I want to do yet....
