Thread: Tracking the Moisture Farmer..

I'm a Master Ranger, and have been trying to track the moisture farmer for the mark of altruism badge for quite some time now. I've been using area track, everyone once in awhile, but he still doesnt seem to want to be found, and I know I'm searching in the right area, because I have the waypoints from Allakhazam. If any of you more experienced rangers out there could give me a few pointers on how to track this farmer I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Not exactly a very Rangery way of finding him, but here's how i found the Farmer.
I was working on a Jedi BH mission. I tracked the Jedi to the Squill Cave. He was near the entrance. I went in, and started attacking him once his health was low, and he force-ran out of there, to a house he has about 500m from the cave or so. he then logged out inside the private house. so i head back to the squill cave to get some XP for the FS Villiage, and who do i see about 10m from the cave entrance?

The Moisture Farmer.
it's as if he was there waiting for me.
not sure if any of that helps you, but just keep in mind that he can make it all the way to the squill cave sometimes.

I think the waypoints given in the guides are out of date. These days the Hero of Tatooine spawns seem to be popping up in different locations on the planet (the boar has been found twice around the Jawa Traders and the pirates are spawning near Anchorhead and south of Mos Taike). I'm not sure when they started doing this but I can't imagine the boar wandering 6km to the same location twice before a server reset.
However, I haven't seen the much of the moisture farmer. I think I got lucky when I found him since it was only the second day of searching (he was near the Jabba mountain compound). It's possible that he too has some new spawn areas.

yup, I happened to be doing some other stuff around Bestine about a week ago, and found the farmer spawned roughly 1500m or so SW of the city. That's a far cry from where I used to run into him before.

when i used to track the hero quests for money, i would pull up my overhead map and walk from one allakhazam wp to the next (where i would do an area track), looking for a white dot. i found him a few times that way, but like hebi said, the wp on allakhazam might be out of date.
