Thread: Going Rates for Resources
General feedback isn't good tho. Seems teh days of the 250-350cpu goodness is long gone and we're in the 10-30cpu doldrums.
Personally I don't sell resources any more. I can make more off mission than going and getting my butt chewed to order. I will however trade the stuff I bring back with guildies and friends for items.
Best thing to do is find a guild AS etc, make a deal to supply them and honour that. Folk won't mind paying a 'good' price for reliable services.
Well the best thing to do is make your rate whatever you think you would gain from harvesting or running missions. So if it takes a long time then charge more, if it doesnt take long then charge less. Try to charge hourly if you can and you will be sorted.
Gauge how hard the npc/creature is to track then use that to determine how much you charge per track. As customers about how much they would pay then pitch 50k higher and go from there etc.

This is quite accurate, do whatever feels right for you. Each Ranger, server, resource, and customer is different, so there's no fixed rate.
If you're looking for a benchmark though, I sell resources for about 15-25cpu right now. For tracking, I either charge 500k per hour or 500k up front and 500k upon find. I prefer the second method lately though b/c I can generally find things in less than an hour.
