I need metal for some of our traps and camps.. I think.. where do I get it from?

I checked on the baazar but I couldn't find anything that said METAL.. I found Inorganic material... is that metal?! Very confused..

Not all Inorganic material is metal...

Things like Steel, Iron, Aluminum are metals

Things like Polymer, Fiberplast, Reactive Gas are inorganic materials, but they are not metal.

You should be able to locate some cheap metal on the bazaar, as quality is not a issuein trap creation.

Make some friends for goodness sakes!

You can certainly find this on the bazaar.. but really, make friends with some people in the game and you will get all this grinding stuff for FREE.

If you look at the properties of the Inorganic Materials, you will see that some have a class of Metal. NRaas suggested Aluminum, Steel and Iron. Copper is also an option.

My best friend plays as a smuggler, so I'm always bumming metal from her. Also, I can always turn to my guild for metal if I'm running short. Another thing to do would be to set up a regular exchange with an armorsmith or tailor. Exchange hides or bone for low-quality metal, since the quality of the resources don't affect camps.

vendor's sell metal.
and the polymer you need for adhesive mesh. just look at the details.

the problem w/ vendors is, its ussually hi-quality stuff, so it ussually sells for more.

try e-mailing the owner of the shop and ask if they have any low quality materials they could sell, or trade, or give.

you you could allways take up surveying /choke /snort /laugh

I once picked up a harvestor. 5 days later, I had 20k.

If you are on one of the starter planets, i dont think you could look in the Bazaar and not see some metal. You will have to figure out how to 'surf' the bazaar for what you are looking for.
