there is a petition against needed a camp to call mounts/vehicles. i say we start an anti petition, this is one of the few things rangers/scouts are useful for. start petitioning.

I've already been commenting on it...at least in the TH thread....we are already getting hit by mounts/vehicles in the terrain negotiation, mask scent, and conceal skills....heck conceal's few advantages are pretty much wiped out with vehicles.

If the camp petitioners get their change...baring other camp types being added in and/or Ranger camp defense finally being put into place....basically all we'll have left is tracking and harvesting..with some trapping on the side. Basically making us mobile "Miners" that can toss fireworks at critters.

Camps are one of the very few advantages we'll have left after this coming patch....and its a small enough advantage as is

I have to be honest with you.. I don't like having to pitch a camp to call a pet. I think its dumb. But vehicles.. that's REALLY DUMB.

My buddy did come up with a really interesting idea that I liked though. When traveling via shuttle to another planet.. you should have to SHIP your pet or vehicle. You can't carry it in your backpack like a toy.

You could even put up parking garages and corrals on planets that allow people to rent space to keep their pets and vehicles. Or you could make a business RENTING vehicles.. maybe not allowing the transport of vehicles or pets at ALL. That would be very interesting.

The new Master CH's will be able to control like 20 pets. Most people hunt like 4 planets for the most part. They could corral 5 on each planet or something. That would be very interesting I think.

As a Ranger/Ch, I would prefer that Sony totally obliterate the use of camps, public housing and having to be in a city to call a pet. I mean come on..

- I make a camp, we pull pets, camp is down.. bamm done.. ALL U DID WAS GO AND PIZZ US OFF

- Private house, can't pull pet.. go to terminal.. change to public.. pull pet.. change back to private.. OMW, AGAIN U MADE ME WASTE MY TIME

- No were near a city.. please see *camp

Ok what I am trying to say .. is this have to be in a certain place to pull a pet thing.. yea.. uhm.. GET RID OF IT, its a waste of our time and resources.... not like a camp has a dataport thats required to call my pet.. I mean come on.. a pet stroed in a datapad???? Uhm.. RIIIIIGHT!!! And the whole can't pull pets inside of a city building.. uhm.. so I step outside and pul the pet then I come inside and the pet follows me.. wow all u did is go and make it take more time to bring a pet inside.... way to think there guys.. way to think.. such brilliance flows from your meager little uncreative **minds....

I seen somebody else say this, so I am going to copy it

In my opionion I think this should stay the way it is. I think the only thing we can bend on is allowinglow level (nothing bigger then what a scout builds) campsto be usable by non scouts We can sell them and it opens a new dependency on scouts.

CHs have a big enough advantage that they can sit back and **edit** their way through missions and hunts, allowing them to pull animals w/o any restriction would be just plain unfair.

I think pets should be sotred in a corral and vehicles in a garage. If that doens't happen, keep the current rules. Que sera sera.

I think anyone that tries to use common sense to argue that you shouldn't need a camp or a city to pull out a pet is a tad retarded. This is a game.. not real life.. not by a long shot.... it's a game with rules. Having to use a camp or a city to call your stupid pet makes just as much sense as you carrying your rancor or your speeder or your 3 at-sts in your back pocket.. so deal with it.

As rangers we really don't have much, and who knows when we'll have anything more sinec our programmer also happens to be the City developer as well.. YEY.. let us keep this little bit for ourselves.
