ok ranger 4-4-3-4 . why do I get aggroed by kreetles when scent is masked but not mereks....?

Could be you are cursed by kreetles, having been killed by them early in the game, they know "pwn" you.

I myself am detected by stoopid rasps 99% of the time. I have played tag with Enraged Rancors, Krayts and Maulers, but God forbid I run, walk, crawl, be in the neighborhood of some rasps... camo / maskscent break.

At least they are not following you...yet. When you see them on every planet, let me know, Then I will know it's a conspiracy.

Maybe it's the Dev's idea of a joke, that one really minor pain in the butt animal gets to be the scourge of certain characters.
