Thread: Thought Camo res was bad before? Serious bug...!
Well, decided to get a little extra survival XP today while sitting in a camp with my droid, and took note that I had harvested enough herbivore meat to make seven Naboo camo kits. I also had plenty enough scaley hide and avian bone, so I went to work. My first kit didn't do so well. As an Engineer, I get 4 points to experiment on my kits, but I got a failure and no change, and just practiced the two charges I got out of it. The next kit, I didn't do half bad, and ended up with a decent four charges. Now, I go to make a third...
And I've no wood left.
"Wait a sec, I know I didn't have that! I harvested enough for 31 kits the yesterday, and I've only made ten at the most."
Well, at about the same time, I noticed I was out of meat after having put it in the slot. Now I'm thoroughly complexed.
"How is it that I only have from an initial 140 meat--just enough for seven kits--only 20 left? It's like I've made six kits, but actually only two..."
And then it dawns on me: for some reason, camo kits don't take the large amount of res we thought they do, they take that much res for each charge?!?
Now I ask myself: is this some freak accident, or are we totally getting the shaft here?
Untrue!
I have crafted 50 kits in the last 5 days and this has never happened to me. Most of my kits get 7 charges and I think I would notice 210 hides go missing, lol
that's what I was trying tosay, but without saying it.
My main concern was that people would see this and go nuts. I have issues of missing resources all the time. I had a cargo pocketwith about 3000 units of various hides in my PA hall that looked empty when I opened it, but examine showed it had 8 items in it. A quick logout or two usually takes care of it.I hope yours comes back as well.
