Thread: Denyservice and rangers
Odd... I sense a story here
do tell ![]()
I'm not sure there is a point to this... care to elaborate?
In my experience its never a good idea to name names. In fact, since my name on here is the same as my ingame name, it probably wouldn't be in my best interests to even relate the story, as it would only garner more harrassment.
Suffice it to say that a certain person and his buddy do not get along with me, nor I with them. Nonetheless we appear to be stuck together, and frankly, I can only offer an olive branch and have it snatched out of my hand, then shoved up my rectum so many times before I just plain give up -_-.
That's .. uh... quite a visual...
To answer the question; there is none, but you can disband any time
. I find even the friends I WANT around don't like to travel the distances I do on explorer missions. Maybe you can bore them away...

No, we do need a denyservice function for camps. Here's why:
Attacking FATAL base one night outside Anchorhead on Starsider. It's a complete thrashing and they all die. We have my high-tech field base setup right near their base for healing, etc. Well guess who comes waltzing into the camp after cloning but the guys and gals we just killed. And, they start using my base's crafting station to make more poisons and stims. Apparently there are none in Imperial bases. Well I can't collapse camp because there are doctors, medics and entertainers working there for the rest of us. If I could simply have targeted the IMP and used /denyservice then it would have been a moot point.

He diddn't say he couldn't disband it, he said that he wouldn't disband it because his friends were using the crafting stations as well as the imps. The /denyservice is in the game already, so it would be the most logical way to impliment. Or since declared overts can register their camps, simply give a TEF to anyone using the crafting stations of a declared ranger. You could also implement the "It would be unwise to heal this person" that coverts get when they try to heal an overt enemy. Just apply it to the crafting stations.
One good way to 'deny service' to anyone who follows you around acting like an a$$ is to put up maskscent and walk through the most dangerous red cons you can find. Don't forget to tell them to have a nice time at the cloning center.
Or with the way conceal is bugged right now, offer to /conceal them and let them know how fun it is to walk right up to a kryat dragon and /pet it.
