A week ago, I stated that I read about a world-wide harvesting reduction. I got crap saying that it wasn't in the notes, when I said it was. Well I couldn't find a post to back up my claim. So finally a DEV has posted a confirmation of my statement. Resources were reduced, because of grouping brings more resources into the economy.
Here is a statement from Holo, from a post asking if there was a reduction.
He also says that the solo results were decreased a bit, but not by 50%, to offset the fact that now you cannowget resources in a group, which means there are a lot more resources in the world.

- I checked the patch notes for that day (Sep 04), and I don't recall there being a point regarding "across the board" harvest reductions.
- That was an obvious omission that has since been corrected by the quote that you posted.
- You are correct that the change went in during that patch, but it was not listed in the notes (which is what many have anissue with).

It's still a bug. 
He says they were reduced, but it wasn't 50%. We know that it was.
So we're both right.
