Thread: Your opions?
After much consideration, I think I would have more fun with the Ranger class then the bounty hunter. They seem to have more tracking and camo capabilities, which I think will be very entertaining...
Anyways... I had a quick question for some of you master rangers out there...
If I went for 4,4,0,1 in riffleman would that be enough firepower to go agianst some of the more fun mobs in the game? Also, would that give me some fire power to be at least decent in pvp? I ask because I would also like to dab in creature handleing, but not at the cost of being totally useless agianst the stronger mobs, and helpless when I am being attacked.
From your experinces, would that be enough weapons skills for me to still have some fun? Thanks!
Sorry but MOBS + Rifleman = quick death or cap
2.5x Melee modifer, crowd control can be an issues with new nerfs to posture change attacks.
Rifleman has some key points for PVE and PvP ,
Concealed shot the best shot in the whole rifleman's arsenal (in my view) for PVE
From what I have heard some of sneak and suprised shot is bugged right now, I don't have it trained yet, have the xp just noskill points.
HS3 is fair to ok, mind2 is amazing when stacked with mind1, This will allow for some good damage output but beware, dot's on multiple targets often meen I'm earning pistol xp ![]()
I would highly recommend 4-1-0-3 or 4-1-0-2 , specical abilites really crank up the speed of your rifle, if your skill points are tight. flurry shot 1/2 are wonderfull shots with modest mind usage
PvP, erm sorry I'm a ranger not a pvp'er so other then the4 duels i've been in (2 with members of my own pa) I can't really say much about the rifleman.
Now dabbling in ch isn't gonna ge easy on the skill points, you need both tame1 and train 1 to call out a cl 25 pet NON AGGO, gsp's, its all up hill from there.
best advice , is to mess with some differant ideas and play what you wanna play with. If you like the snipe branch, cool. Its a game enjoy it.
Happy Hunting
