I was just wondering if someone could give me some names of creatures that you can harvest Bristley hide from?I could also use some names for Wooly Hide as well I know Banthas are one. It doesn't matter which planet or if someone has a link to a website with this info that would be great too.

Take some time about 3-4 days on each starter planet and learn some of the creatures there. Then if you find out on your galaxy forum that good Rori bone or wooly is in shift you already know what to hunt and you can harvest away

Talus has Khamurras that provide decent XP along with the Bristly hide...however...they are social.

"Take some time about 3-4 days on each starter planet and learn some of the creatures there."

This is the type of information I too am looking for...

Perhaps, a registry of Animal / Resource / Frequency would be a good idea to compile?

Does such adatabase already exist? Frequency is an important element in my case.

On Corellia the majority of the cat species have bristly hide. Both krahbu and violent krahbu do (violent are much tougher due to their armor). The various murra species. Cainoids might but they are uncommon.

Murra and krahbu are your best bet as they are not social, common and the easiest to kill.

Pervoles (spelling?) on Dathomir. On sunrunner, Dathomirian bristley hide is currently very high quality.

Let me get some data gathered together tonight. I'll try to talk to some other rangers On Radiant maybe we can get a group effort in on it.

Purboles on Dath provide leathery hide and carnivore meat. They are nasty little suckers and have poison.

Best bristly hide in galaxy comes from Dragonettes on Tatooine. The OQ has always been over 900 through each resource shift. They have ranged acid attack, swarm, and the melee attack is somewhat deadly. If you can snare or root them get beyond 35 meters and their accuracy becomes quite poor. Under 35 meters each spit hit can cost you 100 - 250.

Darn, I'm at work and can't check, but I suddenly had second thoughts on whether or not Dragonettes are scaley or bristley... I'll find out for you. Either way I know the OQ is always very high.

Well, Rori is my home, so i will list the critters i can think of right now:

Tortons- woolly hide; Vir Vir- wooly hide

Tusk Cat- Bristley; Squall- Bristley

Chuba-leathery; Borgle- leathery

Spineflap-Scaley

Spiders (Night and Hermit)- Insect meat

These are the only ones i can remember off the top of my head... i think vroblet give leathery hide but im not sure. I will start a list of hides/meat/bone for the critters of rori tonight... assuming sunrunner comes back online. Out of those, the only ones that should give you trouble are tortons maybe, spineflap soldiers/queens, and the cats- careful with them... they pack and WILL db you... trust me i know
