Thread: How I understood tracking to be......
Does anyone remember the original post about tracking?
Well this is how I understod it would work.
first you find a track
then you follow the track
and then you find the creature you looking for
but every step it does a calculation against your tracking skills
and if you fail, you loose the track
and the bigger and bader the creature the harder to succed
This would kinda give us the ability to "spawn" whatever we was looking for if enough skilled. and there was some complaints about this.
But since getting master ranger takes 140 skillpoints (ifI didnt screw up the calculations) we should be getting something worth while......
Thoughts?
well you hafto consider the RAREness of bigger and badder creatures. and besides we cant track AT-ST's anymore, I mean what can leave more tracks then big tin can filled with stinky imps? ![]()
take a krayt dragon for example, they live on tatooine, its a desert, a blow of wind and there is no trace of tracks, or one could argue that since it is an lizard it would use its tail tail to wipe any fysical traces. Like alot of desert living lizards on earth do.
