Baby trcking only works to a certain extent. As Seken said there are times when you track one and shortly after it will become a full grown adult. I have watched this happen in a lair right in front of me as well. I don't think Babies hang around for very long once the lair spawns.... at least for some creatures.

Tracking will, however, help you a ton with finding a group of creatures similar to the type you are looking for. Although sometimes I have found it to be inaccurate. IE Graul 485 SWm, get100m awayand Graul is gone, get50m it appears again. /areatrack is a bit goofy.

I'm primarily a CH and I was wondering if you can track babies as ranger? I'm going to get Ranger when ever I finish Trapping (I finished all my other scout skills 2 months ago.) But I really want this part of Ranger for explorer missions I just wanted to see if I could kill two birds with one stone... Thx

If you can Track creatures then you can track babies

Its not perfect, I wouldn't try to track babies in the middle of the imp outpost in dantoony as list is limited
but it does work, As you move up you get range and compass headings.

ok Thx...
and I do want to go all the way up the Tracking ladder, because I want to track players too... I figured the higher I went the more accurate it would be...

/areaTrack lists all creatures withing 500 meters as long as the list is less then 50 creatures. it also identifies which ones are (baby) so you dont have to go run toward that group of Graul Maulers unless you are sure they have a baby.

I keep having a problem with something that shows up as a (baby) on track, spontaneously becoming an adult when I get within 120m or so.. dunno what is up with that.

Me and my buddies found (an tamed) 6 Gurrecks on Endor today. Not too shabby, but I do wish they would fix the Z axis prob and the unspawnedspawns that end up in front your face (got tore up on Lok the other day when 2 dune kimos spawned right on top of our group).

I dabble in CH and used tracking to locate a grand wrix baby. The range on tracking limits the usefullness on this but it does work. If you see the grown up version of the baby you want on track you may want to visit it anyway just because it may be a nest...then kill a few to get the baby to spawn.
