Ranger Archive

You guys are nice. I stay covert probably 85% of the time, only being TEF'd during missions on Rori or after finding targets of opportunity on Corellia, or after myteam has been fired upon duringbattles.

I have a few Ranger friends that I hunt with, mixed factions, no problems there at all. Will train them, hunt with them, camp, hang out...whatever. Dunno about the battle part, that remains to be seen. As death be not permanent, it's not a big deal.

All done training non-rangers who are Imperial. Once burned, twice learned. No healing either, I spent credits to get the training, buy the stuff...be damned if I am gonna waste it on some clown who will shoot me 5 minutes later.

Maybe a few boneheads spoiled it for the bunch, but such is life.

yeah rangers rawk, i always say hello to a fellow ranger.

ya i will say hello to him right before i blow his head off.... i am a very territorial ranger... my section of the galaxy biznatch now get off .... thats my motto

I will always train a fellow ranger and usually not kill them but I will incap a lot ( better to be safe than sorry )

The only times I kill is when they shoot at me first or if they are with a group or if they put a pet on me.

If not, it was just a Novice, probably hasn't learned the 'code' yet.

I am a rebel tride and true...but find hunting with fellow rangers of Imp status just fine....did it last night for 4 hours....Lets face it...no one care about the Rangers until they need something...so we should lookout for our own....I dont care if the fellow Ranger was an Imp...I would give him the hide off my back.

I think that's a good code. How can you tell a real scout or ranger? They'll come sit in your camp

LOL BH or not, him and his 2 other buddies went down pretty quick. DB'd 2 of em, and had to burst to catch the 3rd. Got him before the initial hit by the novice ranger (mind shot) incap'd me.

I might 'seem' like an easy target, but there's a 'Master Gunfighter' in me still...and he runs VERY fast.

I'm not in this game to PvP. I chose ranger to hunt. Yes, I can track players. Yes, I do know how to find people near me who are covert enemy faction. Do I use it? No. Will I in the future? Maybe if I keep getting shot in the back...

I'm an Imperial bounty hunter / Ranger. I never kill Rebels if I see one, unless they attack me first or invade my town. See, I see myself as a peacekeeper. I keep the civilians safe and the town peaceful. Opening fire in public is something I want to avoid. I feel no need to kill unless necessary.

That being said, I will often incap Rebels who waltz into Imperial towns, then give them a warning of walking through an all-Imperial town when overt. But I don't deathblow.

I used to love doing this and had a great speech i would give everytime i incapped a rebel but i got tired of being cussed and hearing oooo a roleplayer with a gun

Met an overt Imperial Ranger on Dath two nights ago and I wasovert. I was prettyworn out from huntingand he could have probably taken me easily and we were about 7k meters from cloning center. Instead he walked up and said "Peace."

So I said it back and we did some hunting.

This inspired me, from now on I'll try "Peace" before blasting if I come across enemy Ranger. It was pretty cool.

Maybe this can be the MO for enemy Rangers that find one another in the middle of nowhere.

Never invaded myself, but often gotten caught in the middle from assisting my fellow faction members. I see myself as more of a support role for the combat class. I can't watch a fellow member get blown to pieces by a commando without at least trying to help in some fashion. Same goes for anyone Imp/Reb/Neutral, overt or covert caught in the wild in need of assistance. A giver, not a taker. A companion, not an enemy. But also a lion in an open cage, so don't throw stones unless you want to lose a leg.
