Thread: So after the next patch...
... unless we get some new stuff, what will you do with your free skill points?
With people getting the ability to call pets/droids anywhere, my camps are useless soI'm gonna ditch that tree.
Conceal won't work against NPC's anymore gonna ditch that tree.
Traps, well the only reason I have those to be honest is for the master title.... so I'm gonna ditch that tree.
I figure I'm gonna have 43 skill points so spend on something else. I was thinking medic, what are you gonna do?
Why?
Because they're higher up in the pecking order. Ranger is going to be useless for months to come.

Definitely my choice if I was looking for some new system to play with.
Some of the stuff they are getting in their revision is very cool. 
Yeah, I get chef as a holo grind and they become cool.
My next holo (like I am doing chef) will be BH. Do that right after I have my frontal lobes removed so I fit in with the killer kids.
So we don't get any love for a bit, big freaking deal. Beats being quite a few professions, even broken (carbineer for one, ouch, they die really fast).

I did qualify my remarks with an "if". I am not looking to change professions anytime soon.
But I do know that players will get bored after awhile and require something new...
- So I am all for Rangers taking a break and checking out those "other" professions, while we await changes.
Perhaps work on one of your Jedi professions, if you are interested in joining that crowd.
Well, I'm at 4-2-4-4 now, once I hit master I'll drop down to 0-0-4-0 like everyone else and put those extra points into CH and carbineer. That way I can do missions and hunting much more effectively then a master ranger.

It took me six months, but I finally cracked. I was almost crying as I gave up my useless, skill grabbing skills.
