I'm a master bio engineer (I like playing god with DNA)
I'm a master CH (I want to use the Bio Freaks I make)
And I have the points for 3 skills in ranger

I started ranger because I wanted the conceal ability, I do most of my hunting on endor and dath, but the conceal packs are too high up the tree for me to use. (No one seems to sell them on lowca) and i really like the extra info in the examine window with novice ranger.

Now I have some questions what would be more useful to a non combat Bio Eng

Wayfaring 1-3
+25 camouflage (will this help with mask scent or just conceal?)
+30 terrain negotiation (craw speed is nice when mask scent fails)

Field bioscience 1-3
+25 creature knowledge (what extra info will this give me?)
+25 creature harvesting (I can always use extra meat)
Tracking ability’s (I heard this has very short range is that true?)

As of right now

Dont get the wayfaring skills, conceal is not as effective as it could be, and since you already have maskscent....its not a whole lot better.

the terrain navigation mods are only for crawling, thats it...so I would put your skills into tracking

the increase in harvest is decent, and you will be able to find those critters who want to loan you their DNA.

Dont get traps, dont bother with camps....you already have functional ones.

and the range in tracking is 500 meters and is somewhat buggy in uneven terrain. However, its a good skill to have

"+25 camouflage (will this help with mask scent or just conceal?)"

Only /conceal.

"+25 creature knowledge (what extra info will this give me?)"

Read the FAQ, there is a question that shows all the elements.

"Tracking ability’s (I heard this has very short range is that true?)"

Read the FAQ as well, there is a question about range there as well.
