Thread: Stupid Creature Tricks..Just for Fun
On lowca, rori wooly hide had an OQ of 996 for a while, so naturally I went to rori for several days,
I was killing ravenous tortons, tattered tortons, shallow tortons and gualamas. I noticed that there were these little bunny things, so natually I went in and started killing them taking out their lair.
I was a master pistoleer/ master ranger and 2 shots they were dead and ripe for the harvest. I tapped the lair, and all of a sudden about a million bunnies came out and started hopping to me, I thought, no problem, I can take this...I was wrong...dead wrong, I killed a lot, but they hit me and hit me and kept reproducing and breeding, I was really really low on health, and all of them were dead except for a baby bunny. I just used my last stim A and thought np, i will just kill this and rest, somehow, it got a critical hit on me and incapped me. I wished that i could crawl under a rock and just die.
My friend who was joining me arrived at that exact moment, saw the carnage of bunnies and one baby and me incapped on the ground. To this day, she doesnt let me live down that humiliation.
For bragging rights,
without buffs, without armor, I used traps and bleeds (and a good bit of running up and down hills) etc as a master pistoleer and took out a graul mauler. That was a good day, my hunting partner saw that as well, but still prefers to reference my re-inactment of the movie "Night of the Lepus"
oh...the shame....the shame....
And there I was .... all good war stories start out that way
Hunting stupid paralopes and durni because someone needs herbie meat and I was not in the mood to travel. Pre mount days. I need 1600 meat for a factory run of some stim.
Beating on the lopes, killing the durni. I do a fan shot at a paralope on a hill about 30 meters away. By accident, it's the same hotkey as stopping shot, just shifted. OOOPS. I did not notice where the shots went. I turn to kill more lopes, then do a mass harvest. Three war gronda come over the hill and commence to beat on me. I mean these things hauled butt to get to me. Boom, I am down for the count, and ... slain. I come out of the cloner and of course I run into the medic I am working for. To this day he still says I was killed by paralopes.
On the plus side, I was aggroed by an enraged rancor while wandering looking for some baby for a CH. No armor, no spice, no buffs, I don't even think my pistol had a power up on board. I used traps, bleeds, and TN to wear him down and kill him. Had so much fun I did it two more times on his brothers. Twas then I realized I had not cloned on that planet.
And with a wanna be BH friend, we grouped with a CH and a BE with insane pets and gotlevel 125 missions for sharnaff. Then the BH and I went out and dealt with them. She decided she needed carbine XP. So that's what we did. 5 bulls, used only a pistol and a carbine ( I think she was hitting for 100 max, may have well as been a droid) and many many many traps. She made two levels. I got enough hide in those missions I am just now running out, and this was 2 weeks ago.
And yes, I was killed by rasps as a noob and that's why I truly hate them still.

Man when I first started I got killed by Babies of every breed. because I didnt know about aggroing and how combat worked
It was so embarassing as my Novice BH friend was training me in.
But the first time I felt proud of my kill, is before I was even a Master Marksman or any elite thing at all, I was doing the Emperor's Retreat. And one of the missions , I had to go kill a Fambaa. It was the biggest thing I had seen yet. I had no idea how I was gonna kill something that big by myself. With the help of some low level bleed and running my ass off, I finally slayed the beast! Took a kick ss screeniee of it too!
