  • Fixed Level display when Ranger/Scout examines a crafted pet.

  • Hey there... Found this about what is now on test.

Does this mean they fixed the damage and specials on /examine of a BE pet? Because they had already fixed the Level, just the damage and specials were still broken.

Anyone out there on Test able to check this out? Pretty please?

"Anyone out there on Test able to check this out?"

I don't have access to a BE pet on Test Center, so one of the regulars will need to test it out.

[Edit: Removed a section because I wasn't truely certain of the answer ]

Thanks Nrass, maybe someone else out there can check it.

Just for review, all BE pets when examined (no matter the level or actual stats) will show as damage 30-40 and the specials will show like there are none.

Really hope they put a fix in for this.

As I understand it, and i've tried to find all info I could because of the new 90 seconds calling datapad items rules, only the level will be looked at, not special attacks ordamage output.

Which would mean we will lose the ability to see damage and specials on BE creatures or all creatures?

Why would they take something else away from Rangers instead of fixing this bug?

Say what? I read DenisaGalen's comments as: The developershad only looked into fixing the Difficulty level issue, and have not yet fixed the other elements.

Where did you get the impression that the developers were removing functionality?

Well because she said "will be looked at".... and the CL on /examine of BE pets is already fixed on Live servers... it was fixed with the last publish.

I hope I did misunderstand her. It would be really great if someone could just /examine a BE pet on test.... it doesnt have to be your own pet. If it shows 30-40 dmg and no specials, just ask the owner if thats the correct information. (They can see the actual stuff in their datapad).

What I meant was that they will again try to fixrangers being able to see the creature levels of a BE pet, alot of pets that are crafted still show as level 1 just like before they tried to fix it.

There is no mention anywhere of them looking at fixing the other information we can view, the 30-40 damage and no specials even on creatures with knockdown and medium poison hitting for 520-540 for instance.

I reported before that this info is still not working, I do not know if the development team is aware that we would like to see that fixed.

Thanks Denisa, I have not run into any BE pets where the lvl was still not right so was unaware there were still problems there.

Nrass, do they know the damage and specials are broken for /examine on live? Last time I brought it up was after the Dec publish and really all you confirmed was that they knew the CL was not showing right.

If players have sent in /bug reports then they know about the issue.

I believeI went through this same conversation a month ago on the same topic. I doubt it's a high priority item though.

Yeah we did, but only the CL problem was confirmed with them. I know of others who have /bugged it in game also... it's just that the /bug reports never give feedback, so here I am again.

If no one on test can see if its fixed, I guess we will find out in a couple weeks anyway. It just seems like it would be easier (for them) to fix it when they are messing with fixing any left over CL displays also.
