Thread: Harvest Macros?
Maybe a semicolon at the end of the command....ie /harvest hide;
I personally use:
/harvest hide;
/loot;
i've long used macros like this:
/harvest hide;
/loot;
/harvest meat;
/loot;
/harvest bone;
/loot;
Adding the loot in there ensures you pick up special resources (voritor plates, krayt pearls) and as an added bonus works just as well on NPCs (the harvest command won't work but it will skip to loot).
However.... i've been noticing in the past couple of weeks (since last publish) that the /harvest in the macro sometimes is severely delayed, and doesn't activate until I've already moved away from the corpse-- which is a pain. So I've actually found that using the radial menu recently has been more reliable (as I'm often speed-harvesting, and will randomly get "unable to access container in current state" error at some point and won't know which carcass it's referring to. Better to slow down and use the radial than to have to go back and check each smelly dead beast.
/harvest hide;
/loot;
Okay, two things...
Does the "H" in hide need to be capitalized or no?
I learned somethign new on thse forums today and I should have been smacked for not knowing this....
I can take a Sharnaff Bull down solo and I have NEVER looted them. I didn't know animals had "loot" on them. That sucks, I probably would have gotten some good scales and stuff and never knew..
make sure you have not maxed out your inventory space too. if your just hitting your Fkeys harvesting, even with the right macro, you still need to have inventory space to actually take the resource. if nothing happens, check the critter by clicking "loot" and check the window. your resource container should be on the critter till you open up space in your inventory to pick it up.
/h works just as well as /harvest. As I'm lazy, I use this over /harvest. As I also don't want to give up space on my tool bar, this is generally quicker.. But then, I also Ctrl-up so I don't even have to type /h hide or whatever most times.
