What are the rules with the camping XP, meaning; Do you get more xp with more people? How many people is worth it? Does it depend on if your camp is active (healing & crafting going on), things like that. New to the Ranger field and Camping will be the only downer XP wise..

You hit the nail right on the head
More people=more xp (until the cap)
More people doing stuff=more xp
some of the best ways to get xp is to set up a camp, heal, tumble or whatever. One way is to have a PA meeting in your camp, or get in a big group and hunt. The camping tree is a little tedious, but it can be done.

That got me through camp 3. I crafted through camp 4, but that takes up valuable resources.

I did frontiering 1-4 in about a day with a PA helping out...basically just hope your guildmates have lots of alts and have them sit in your camp all day lol.

I have an alt.
I pull creature out with him.. set patrol points to go in and out of the camp with the /follow command.
Then on my main I sit in the camp and /forage. After 5 minutes.. I yank the camp and set another one.
