I don't believe an organic strike will get the devs attention. IMHO there aren't enough Rangers to make that much of a difference and has been stated many times before there are combat professions that are much more effective hunters than we are.


If you really want to get the devs attention then rally everyone to drop the Ranger profession and when the devs see that Rangers are non-existent because we have been ignoredmaybe thenwe will get some attention.

I'm up for that too. My holo said DE and I've been ignoring it. Plus it will be fun getting Master Ranger all over again.

This could work, and I would support it.


I have seen about a half dozen people drop scout (any harvesting ability) once the new patch went into effect. That's six less people harvesting. And that was just in one town.


It's either strike, or start raising our prices commensurate to how long it takes x the dangerousness of the prey + our operating expenses for that hunt. I have sold 100cpu stuff. You make it rare enough, they will pay.


Will the Devs listen, nope. Not to us alone. We need to get Artisan support also.

Think we (and by we, I mean you )should start a thread on their forum? It could easily backfire. I don't see how hurting your clients will make the devs respond. Plus, what would keep the scabs at bay? Nada, IMO. It would be easy to continue the influx of resoruces without rangers. Plus, I hear the wookiee protest went faily poorly, do we want the same results?

You're right. The community would survive without us. Sad, isnt it? The wookies are getting armor within the next few weeks though, so their protest wasnt a total bust. Do we want the same results? It just seems like this community is trying so hard to maintain this perfect image of stability and maturity that there is no passion or drive to get anything done. That is just my opinion, but I would love to see someone light a fire under this communities collective butts and see what happens. Better to have tried and failed than to have not tried at all.

I am willing to Freeze all Organic Sales. But one person is not enough to put the message through. Who else here would be willing to Freeze sales til we get REAL aswers instead of the 7 months of brush offs we've been getting so far. Now I'm not saying to shoot yourself in the foot we should still collect the reasourses and store them til enough people are willing to to admit we have a role in this game and deserve the same respect others have gotten while our Profession has been made obsolete. If your willing to tighten up you belt and live of missions for a while. Reply to this post.

Nope, price won't help I'm afraid. After all there is already eclipse with docs/armorsmithes offering 200cpu for huntables (nabooian avian current shift or corellian wooly some time ago).

The devs probably would be very impressed with a protest of 10-20 Master Rangers (my rough guess about the total count of Master Rangers on eclipse) at Coronet Starport on Eclipse .

A protest isn't going to work. Wookies didn't get thier armour because they protested - they got it because they made a coherent arguement for it. The stuff was in the works a while before the protests took place (there was a quote to this effect from KStarfire).


The best thing we can do is to get a correspondent and get Kstarfire onside as well. Then with a correspondent, delta and Kstar we might be able to get enough attention to argue why we should be next for a revamp and not one of the other classes.
