Although in many uses of the term i am a newbie, I know this, I also know that my main reason for even starting the scout prof was to become a ranger, i whole heartedly agree with JB and the other community vets, the ranger prof is getting screwed royally!!

But what concerns me the most is the amount of complants the Devs and the corespondents get, I feel that the Devs are aware of the problems that deeply concearn us and i dont think everyone whining about the same issues help them any.

im also pretty sure im going to get hammered by others for the position im taking on the matter, we should all ban together to make sure the steps that need to be taken to improve us get done. I fell that if we put asmuch effort into offering help and not complainng as much as we do, things will get done fast.

We all need to unite in this time of turmoil and stop being counterpreductive, we pay good money to play this game, we should stop wasting time complaining and enjoy it.

Ive said my piece, i may get myrtered but after all it is in the best intrests of the community.

This forum used to be what you are describing. It just doesn't seem to be helping. If you look in the State of the Profession post and the Outdoorsman proposal (both stickied at the top of the forum) you can see a large portion of what this community has come up with. Themain problem is that so much work has been put in without any comment from the Devs. As for the correspondents, they are actually other members of the community that are selected to present our point of view to the developers. Right now we don't have one (our last correspondent resigned because of real life issues). The scout correspondent is trying to cover our boards as well but he can only do so much (thanks again, Delta). When we get a new correspondent (hopefully in the next day or two) I expect things will calm down a bit. It's just hard to see a profession that we all love so much getting neglected andignored like it has been for so long.
