Thread: Nabooian Carnivore Meat Where art thou?

I have taken on a commission to obtain 25k Haweistap - Nabooian Carnivore Meat. My dilemma - are the largest creatures/harvest really swamp cats and narglatch? If so at less than 100 per, I'm in for alot of time in the fog. Even the alpha Vermooks and spitting Rawlsgive very little.
Naboo is a great place for herbivore, insect and avian, but horrible for carnivore meat. Have I taken on a comission that will consume the next week or more (assume max of 3 hours per day)?

It looks like you are hunting the correct stuff 
. The starter planets just don't offer up large quantities of creature resources. That being said, you at least got a decent contract there...sometime you need to try to harvest Tat Avian Meat of Corellian Wooly Hide

Nice contract. Tough to fill at 100 units a kill though...
Time to apply a little lateral thinking and start spammi^W buying in Nab carny at say, 50% of your unit price? You'll no tmake nearly so much, but you will fill the order and that will get you repeat business.
You'll also have a list of people who can go out and get say 1k - 5k of meat for you for a price.
Oh heck.... thats just turned Ranger into a businessman

Silly you.
Hope you are getting big bucks, because 25k of anything, be it Corellian wooley (25 units off that enraged durni - max drop) to Lokian scaley (300+ off a kimoglia) will take you a fair amount of time.
Personally, I never promise quantity. Craftertype wants XYZ units of thisnthat, I go out and get some, if the price is right. Never take insane contracts. For all you know, the hide/meat/bone will shift tomorrow and where are ya, 20k short of your goal and no chance to fill it. Don't tell me things last 3 weeks, I have documented 3 shifts in a day for really good stuff.
The best I promise is "OK, I will head to (planet) and see what I can get"

Hehe Naboo is a horrid place for ANYTHING hehe.
I can harvest 50k of endorian insect in 4 hours but i have no chance at getting anywhere near that on Naboo.
Endor is my favourite planet and its by far the greatest hunting ground (along with yavin) for harvest hunts.
