i have a que. about camo.....can you wear armor as well as the camo?

im not a ranger yet....so i want to plan ahead

It's more like a state effect so it has no effect on armor/clothes you can or can not wear.

Now the unasked for opinion:

It's easier/cheaper to get Jawa beer (+mod to mask scent) in addition to +maskscent/camo clothes for a little extra "stealth" then using camouflage. Each planet requires it's own camo-kit made from resources native to that planet. The bonus "stealth" against creatures is the same or only slightly better then maskscent and it's not supposed to work against NPC's, occasionaly it does though but hardly worth the time and effort to make them.

Maskscent has no cost besides bonus clothes/beer, Camo costs resources to apply each time. The only "real" benefit of camo is the ability to apply it to players without maskscent/camo skills but speeders/mounts make getting agro during travel a moot point. Buffs/armor make getting agro during fighting a non-problem.

Oh, as a rifleman concealshotting at 60m I do find camo much more effective then maskscent, but headshotting with a creature to tank drops my target much quicker.

Camo kits do not affect armor in any way.
