ok, so im already master tk and master swords, will have to drop part of tk to get what I want in ranger, but is tracking 4 enough to make money as a resource gatherer? All I want to do is get resources for guildies and for other people and make some money/keep boredom away that way.

is tracking 4 enough? i dont really want to give up more of tk then I have to.

Tracking III is enough, Tracking IV even better. Get veghash (should be 30+ bonus, at least on eclipse). Don't bother with a harvesting droid, more trouble then it's worth for melee combat prof.

Final advice: Stick to it. It takes some time to learn the good harvest spots. Don't commit yourself to large stacksizes or even to any stacksize at all until you get some experience in reliable estimating what you can get.

ya, my only order so far has been 15k of dath insect meat and I was hunting 4, with a 75 harvest droid. not hard to find spiders on dath, just go between the nighsister battlefield and the stronghold poi and there are hundreds of em. My next order is another 15k stack of dant carn meat, vor missions basically.

it took me about 1hr to get the 15k dath meat. shouldnt take me much longer to get the carn meat. right now im just helping my guild's chef out to get myself familiarized with the process. (i still have to do trapping 2, 3, 4 and survival 3, 4)

he's paying me 20cpu, is that good? i have no idea on charging rates.
