Though i don't post much on the boards in general i thought i would share this with my fellow Rangers. (just ignore this if you know the trick already)

to flood a camp and thus be able to fish inside the camp and get an easy catch:

stand with your feet in the "surf" area of the water, ive found this works best on the sea next to coronet, meaning that the ebb and flow of the water only touches your feet.

Next pitch your tent/tents/base and the land that the camp takes up will level out letting you fish inside the camp with about enough water to cover your feet throughout the camp so you can simply walk up to the fish and pick it up out of the water

just make sure that you walk up to the bober after the screen displays the "you reel in you catch" so you don't reel in your line because of being too close.

I've done this for quite some time, it's a good tip! Great xp too, if you are into that, but for me it's the fish. My girlfriend is kinda ticked at me for filling up all our containers with chum bait, lol.
