Ok I qualified as a novice Ranger and got my first ranger skill which is concealment 1.
I went to craft a camo kit for tat and it says it requires "local" animal hide.
why then is it that if I harvest hide from scyks, eopies and other CL13-14 creatures that provide me with "tatooine leathery or bristly hide" I cant use it for my camo kit, the only hide I can use is wooley hide which I collected from a dwarf bantha.
any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

check the schematic again. It should say it takes "Tatooinian Wooly Hide". I think perhaps your refering to the description given in the skill box, not the one given by the schematic itself. When crafting, you should see that it only takes one type of hide.
For each planet, different types of meat/hide/bones are neccesary. You might need scaley hide and herbi meat on one planet and wooly hide and animal bones on another. Check each schematic for details.

Thnx for the info bud. I'll check it again and start looking for some wooley things to kill

check swgcreatures.com and do an advanced search for creatures on Tat. that drop wooley. Should save you some time. If you have any other question, feel free to post them.
