I have always admired rangers, and am finally taking the plunge.... however the meditation line wound healing from TKM is soo hard to surrender... Im trying to take as much ranger and rifleman as possible and hold onto meditation. I know its not possible to master both with meditation. My question is... the advanced camps hint that that they heal wounds.... im sure it isnt anywhere close to meditation... but i would love to master ranger. I have searched the forums for answers and finally gave up and am just asking you vets.... The high end camps like HTFB how quickly do they heal wounds up? Also there is the curing of diseases and poisons i will be giving up dropping mediatate..... I have enough for 3 lvl 4 boxes in rifle, and 2 lvl 4 boxes and one lvl 3 in ranger... I know this is dabbling and would love to master both rifle and ranger, however the healing abilities of med is so hard to drop.... any advice or input would be appreciated...

Didnt they nerf wound and bf healing? (dont take me on this, im not 100% on the wound but i know they nerfed BF)

Well I have all but the best cammp now. The Field Base heals at a rate of .95. I have been told thi si to be compared to a Medical centers 1.0 for just sitting in it. Hope that helps.

BF will not be healed by the camps.
The HTFB is actually rated higher than the medcenters. Healing is slow tho, I mean you can sit there all day to cure serious black line disease.
Poisons and disease do not seem to be affected.
Why don't you keep TK and go Ranger. There is nothing special about Rifleman, other than they need droids to harvest efficiently as they hide in the weeds. (yes, that was a dig at riflemen from a pistoleer) Many Rangers are melee and love it. And you can master both Ranger and TK.

Yup... HTFB = Med Center.
Go get yourself wounded, and sit in a med center, not letting anyone heal your wounds.
That's how fast the HTFB heals wounds. (Or, that's how I always figured it works lol.)

Well, I'm a master rifleman and if you go the rifles route, I'd definitely suggest mastering rather than dabbling. That final box with the speed boost is worth it.
But why do you want to drop TKM? There are plenty of rangers who choose TKA as their combat profession. With master TKM you'll have enough SP left over to get novice medic, and I think, one other box in medic - so you can heal some decent HAM damage with good stim B's.. about 450 or so.
(the same is true for rifleman, if you drop your ranged support line - I did and didn't notice a difference)
The alternative is that being a rifleman, I rarely have creatures get close enough to do any BF or wound damage before they slump to the ground.
It all comes down to what you enjoy the most.

In am 99% sure that HTFB's and Med Centers have the same med rating.

Ooops, my bad. My droid is actually rater higher, not the HTFB. Soryy. 5 lashes with a wet noodle to me.
And that is my useless droid, the one with the craft station, holding thingy for 10 emergency items, 110 med rating, and he can't fight for squat.
