So when the POI system came out, I had noticed I had already been to about 1/3 of them. A few weeks back, I noticed I had about 25 of the poi badges and the corresponding Explorer badge. I figured "hey, I'm a master ranger, what better content then becoming Master Explorer and seeing all the poi?"

If you don't know, getting like 10 poi badges gets you a Novice Explorer badge. Then you get Journeyman Explorer at I think 20 poi badges. It goes all the way to Master Explorer when you get all 45 poi badges. I got this completed last week, and I have to say, there are some really nice eye candy places in game even I had not seen. There is some cool, detailed content, even low end content in this game, I had never seen. I rarely go to places like Talus or Rori but dang there was some cool content there. It was really fun actually travelling the galaxy and seeing the sites. Some poi's don't give a badge, and most don't give you the badge right where the poi WP is at. You have to wander around the area and waite til you hit the sweet spot. And some of the 45 poi's are not even listed in our datapads. The forums are a good source to find out where those are.

I feel I have occomplished something now, master ranger, master explorer.

I had most of the POIs the week they came out. Ran to most, found one by accident - Lesser Misty Falls or something.

Master Rangers should be Master Explorers, I wholeheartedly agree. I like just wandering around seeing what is over the next hill. More fun when there is somehting to harvest.

Congrats, now let's see who else can claim this.

I just got my 30th explorer badge and was pretty damned proud of it. Im going to hit the others on my mount and learn the areas

I had been to the majority of them before they were POIs. In my travels, I managed to collect most of the badges without even trying. Not too long back, I noticed I only had 5 or so left to get so I went ahead and did them. I just wish that people would look at the places that aren't actually POIs. Some of my favorite sights in this game are probably not POIs (I can't be sure as I don't know what is and isn't in the POI tab that well). I'm just wondering if there is anything out there that I still haven't seen. I hope so and I hope I run into it someday.

I finally got Master Explorer tonight as well.I've had 42 for the longest time now. The best thing is that I finished up on a badge that you can't get with a POI waypoint. It was the perfect way to get master explorer. for those wondering it was the downed spaceship on Dath, and I did it without a WP.
