So last night a buddy and I decide it's time to hit the squill cave. I've been wanting to do the Hero quest for some time and he's wanting to just kill something. I'm ranged and he's a TKM/Doc with novice scout for harvesting.

While he's collecting his resources, I fly out to Tat to gather the hides, bone and meat for Tat camo. Blasting away outside Mos Eisley I get approached by a couple of guys and one asks if I want to group with them. They want to get tougher game so the guys kid brother can get some xp. He then tells me the kid is 9.

I have a nine year old daughter I don't let play this game simply because it's a giant chat room. Anyways, I'm pretty hesitant about this and don't really like the idea but remember I have Helper above my head so I tell him that my self and my guild buddy are doing the squill cave.

They both perk right up, "We've been wanting to do that! Can we tag along?"

So I says yeah, but myself and my buddy will be grouping together. I tell them I have to collect some stuff and wait for him so they decide to go on and wait for us there.

After making camo kits and meeting with my buddy, we get to the cave and they're not there. Oh well says I, it's been a good 30 minutes, maybe they left. So we head inside and start leveling the place.

BLOOD GUTS GORE< VEINS IN MY TEETH!!!

Had a grand old time when we run past these guys half way down. I get a tell saying, "Hey, we're right behind you!"

To which I reply, "Ok, keep up!"

Never saw 'em again the whole night. I fell kinda guilty, in a sorta sadistic way. We were clearing the way to but they got sidetracked I guess

I really wasn't trying to be rude to them, but the older one was a little too pushy at first and I'm not a big fan of playing this game with nine year olds. All my guildies are pretty mature and we can have some downright hilarious conversations that a nine year old has no business being involved in.

So, some people ask for your help, since you had the helper tag up, and you didn't want to help them. Since you did have the helper tag up, you said you would help them, then lead them to their death and you are proud of yourself? Hmmm....

It wasn't a matter of asking for help really. They asked if I wanted to gorup with them and I told them I was in the middle of something else. When they persisted and asked to tag along, I told them what we were doing. They agreed to the terms and we went on our way. Yes I do feel bad that they cloned, but I've been getting hit by a rash of goofy players lately begging to PvP so they could test out thier UBER vibrosatff and laff as they incap my butt in 2 seconds.

Maybe I just got a little jaded and tired of whiney players. And trust me, I've helped a buttload of noobs over the past month or so with money, time, tips and materials. Every noob that gets my time usually ends up with crates, weapons and money. This was an isolated event based on the initial encounter.

Sorry, I wasn't calling you noob helping into play, I was mostly wondering why you said you would help when you didn't to and you you were proud of getting them killed. It's not too hard to say no.

Actually, fo r me it is really hard to say no. I like helping people but these guys were being obnoxious. I didn't do it on purpose, we really were engrossed in our playing of the cave and when I told them to keep up, didn't even notice that they got left behind. It was an oversight and no, I'm not proud I got them killed. Just found it a little humerous that's all.

Well, you never really painted the picture that they were obnoxious and pushy. Nor did you imply that they fell by the wayside. You basically said that you agreed to help them since you had your helper tag up and then never botherd to help them in the cave. It just sounded like a griefing situation.

OK, I have said what I wanted to and I will drop it now.
