Thread: I can't seem to Camo my guildies and friends. Why?

I have recently obtained enough resources to make the Tatooine Camo Kits for our entire guild on today's Krayt Hunt.
I have tried to Camo a guildie before we set out in search of some kind of pig for a jedi quest (I think) but when I had my camo kit in my inventory, and I selected my friend, he did not become camoflauged with the "mask scent" icon and I also did not receive any kind of confirmation or error message.
I cannot stress this enough. I am our guild's only Ranger, and if I can't get this to work I'm afraid that I will not be able to protect us from the tuskens and such that would sitract us from the krayts.
Can anyone tell me why I haven't been able to camoflauge them yet?
P.S. The weren't overt/spec ops. They were on leave. I doubt that matters, but I can't tell for sure.

Hey man hows it goin, the mask scent only works on creatures and you. You have too use the conceal icon, to use camo on others and yourself. Just target friend then use the conceal icon. To camo yourself click on your name or just the ground or anything and hit conceal. The icon will look just like mask scent, but it say that you have camo'd you and friend. Just remember the camo is only as good as the resources used.

I ran into a similar situation the other night at the squill cave. Before going in, I tried to camo my buddy and nothing would happen. I was usingthe right icon but it wouldn't register that I'd even tried. No "you can't do this" or naything saying that it worked.
We survived, but I wanted to stealth the cave as much as possible. Didn't matter anyways, they still managed to break it and aggro me first

I've found that with the last publish, I can't camo friends that are Special Forces when I am combatant or on leave. I had a friend ask me to camo him who was special forces and also was not getting an error message. I had him go to a recruiter and that worked.
Give that a try.

I wasn't using maskscent, first poster. I typed /conceal in the chat window while having my friend selected, and in my group nonetheless, and I only did /conceal after I used the icon on my tool bar.
I'm thinking that this is a major bug. We should all /bug report it.
I know I am.

I bet that's it. As soon as you said that I did remember that he was specfor and even commented on it. That's probably what the whole issue was. He's been like that ever since he healed our guild Jedi.

Ok, I just did a drive by camoing on Tatooine, since no one was responding to my offers and requests hehe.
I think that it's just the specops combatant thing.
Nothing to see here, move along lol.
